Where are we going?

The company has a lot of work to do. Our plans are focused on creating more products based on research into the areas of modeling complex systems, with a particular emphasis on the use of the Unified Modeling Language? (UML). The company's destiny and shape will be determined by this direction. Simply we will change in what ever way we need to continue to do our work and deliver high quality products that delight our customers.

Where have we come from?

We think we are probably a little like you. We have worked in what is popularly known as the Information Technology industry. Our experience has been myriad and in a variety of roles from business analyst to senior architect. We have taken part in a number of large and small projects in a diverse range of domains and organisations. Our employees have been using the UML since 1996 when it was still in the early stages of Beta release.

What does our name mean?

In the words of Alice in Wonderland "Must a name mean something?". We decided that it didn't need to. So we based our name on the sound of the name rather than the meaning of the word. We perceived a limitation and restriction by calling ourselves by a name that had a specific meaning. In any case, words change their meaning over time. Think about the number of companies who are unstitching the "e" out of their company T-shirts, an "e" they all so hastily stitched in. In the words of the round egg "With a name like that you might be any shape."
